ECC began as a composites fabricator for industrial applications, and over the years we have developed a special set of capabilities to serve the petrochemical, mining, food service, and pulp and paper industries. At the core of our value proposition is our ability to enable these industries to transform into more environmentally friendly participants in the Nation's economy.
Our work for the chlor-alkyd industry, for examples, allows that industry to move away from chlorine manufacturing processes that create highly toxic byproducts into a new approach, called membrane cell technology, which avoids those byproducts entirely.
We are finding that demand for our innovative work for the industrial sector is not limited to the United States. Recently we have begun discussions with companies that operate petrochemical and mining operations in other countries that prefer to have a US company design and fabricate critical composites infrastructure in order to ensure the highest quality result. This reduces liability exposure for our clients.
Our industrial markets continue to expand, as new petrochemical and mining operations launch. We will continue to provide important innovations to these markets, especially around new materials that will improve lifecycle costs as well as performance.
