May 14, 2009 -- Energy Composites Corporation (NASDAQ OTC:ENCC) announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Mid-State Technical College of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to establish the worldÕs first certified training program for workers engaged in the manufacture of composite blades for wind energy systems. The training curriculum will be certified by Oslo-based DNV, the global leader in certification for business, and will developed in concert with the National Energy Research Laboratory and the Department of Energy. WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. April 9, 2009 -- Energy Composites Corporation (NASDAQ OTC:ENCC) announced that it had completed delivery of eighteen large bore, fiber-reinforced plastic tanks that enable a major chlor-alkali producer to transition to the environmentally-friendly membrane cell process. Included in the order were four field-erected vertically wound tanks ranging in diameter from 23 feet to 30 feet. All tanks were fabricated off-site and installed during the winter months, and the entire order was subject to very short lead times. April 1, 2009 -- Energy Composites Corporation (NASDAQ OTC:ENCC) announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the City of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to acquire a 54 acre parcel for the purpose of building a 350,000 square foot composites fabrication plant for manufacturing wind turbine blades. The City and the Company will reach a final definitive agreement before June 1, 2009, after which ECC will commence the construction of the plant. Securing the property is an important, early step in the execution of ECC's WindFiber™ composites-in-wind-energy program. December 4, 2008 --(BUSINESS WIRE)--Energy Composites Corporation (NASDAQ OTC:ENCC - News) announced today that it has delivered and installed a large-bore, vertically-wound fiber-reinforced plastic tank to a large North American manufacturer of chlorine and caustic soda. This 30 foot diameter by 43 foot high tank is the first in a series of 16 tanks that ECC is manufacturing and will deliver over the next several months in order to enable the transformation of the manufacturing process at a significant Chlor-Alkali plant to the environmentally-friendly membrane cell process. ECC fabricated the oversized tank using a custom vertical winding apparatus that was manufactured by the Company for its own use at less than 20% of the cost of a commercially-manufactured winder. WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis., Nov. 18 - Energy Composites Corporation (NASDAQ OTC: ENCC) announced today that it has signed a final, multiyear agreement with Swancor Industries Co, Ltd. of Nantou City, Taiwan that provides ECC with the exclusive right to distribute an advanced line of epoxy resin systems to manufacturers of wind energy system components in North and South America. The agreement also provides ECC access to an extensive line of vinyl esters for use in manufacturing flue gas desulfurization infrastructure; water management systems; biofuel production, storage and transport systems; and systems for the petrochemical, mining, and pulp and paper industries both for distribution and internal use. The final agreement is substantially more comprehensive than the preliminary memorandum of understanding negotiated several months ago.
